Manoj Kr Bhusal, one of the founders of Silver Lining Creation Finland, is also a documentary maker, photographer and development activist. He has been working as Silcreation’s Executive Director since its establishment and as the Editor-in-Chief of Global South Development Magazine. IOULIA FENTON, Assistant Editor
Ioulia holds an MSc in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies and 1st Class BSc (Hons) Psychology, University of Bath. She runs a prize winning blog http://thedevelopmentroast.org and contributes to the Monday Morning Development Newsletter and Americas Quarterly. She has researched environment and economics for INESAD in Bolivia, Trade and Investment for UNESCAP in Thailand and consulted on food security and under-nutrition for Action Against Hunger UK in Guatemala. CAROLYNN LOOK, Editorial Assistant
Carolynn is a student of Chinese and Development Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. She is currently living in Beijing, China as part of her degree, where she is working on a sinological research project related to creativity in China. After having previously travelled to China, where she engaged in language learning provided by a US government scholarship, as well as volunteer work, she became increasingly aware of global development issues. Her particular interest lies in gender issues and environmentalism. In Berlin, where she grew up, Carolynn co-founded an environmental activist group and was the editor of an outspoken German-English student newspaper.
