Noah studied Environment and Economics at the University of Colorado. After graduation, he moved to Argentina to teach English and to discover, in his own words, what IT is all about. Upon his return to the US, he took a position with John Snow, Inc., an international public health consulting firm. After two and a half years supporting projects abroad from their Boston offices, he moved to La Paz, Bolivia to work directly with a program focused on maternal and child health and prevention and treatment of infectious disease. Victoria is a recent Msc Development Studies graduate, fluent in Spanish, French and English with a special interest in Argentina having lived and studied in the country. Amy Connolly has her BA in Political Science and Women’s Studies from Portland State University. She is passionate and committed to working on environmental issues in Latin America with a focus on Bolivia. JOSIQUE LORENZO LEMIRE, Country Correspondent (Brazil)
Josique holds a Master in international development from the Università di Bologna, Italy, and FLACSO, Argentina. She recently completed a six-month internship as a Research Assistant at the Rural and Sustainable Development Department of the International Policy Centre for Inclusive Growth (IPC-IG), Poverty Group, UNDP, located in Brasilia, Brazil. Before that, she has worked notably for NGOs in Montreal, Canada and New Delhi, India. She is fluent in French, Spanish, English and Portuguese. Marita’s interest in the developing world has brought her to African, Asian and Latin American hinterlands to the front of UN delegates in New York. As a young and passionate development worker, she has been working as a Board Member in the official Board of Directors in Plan Norway since 2009. Prior to this, she has worked and volunteered in different parts of the world. Ricardo is a sociologist holding an MA in Development Studies from IDS at Sussex (UK) with experience coordinating social programmes and conducting cross-cutting research studies at consultancy firms, think tanks and NGOs. Being originally from Peru, Ricardo has both a personal and professional interest in following closely and analysing Peru’s political, economic and social trends.
