Noah studied Environment and Economics at the University of Colorado. After graduation, he moved to Argentina to teach English and to discover, in his own words, what IT is all about. Upon his return to the US, he took a position with John Snow, Inc., an international public health consulting firm. After two and a half years supporting projects abroad from their Boston offices, he moved to La Paz, Bolivia to work directly with a program focused on maternal and child health and prevention and treatment of infectious disease. DR. LYKKE E. ANDERSEN, Country Correspondent (Bolivia)
Dr. Lykke E. Andersen has been conducting development research in Latin America for more than 15 years. She is President of the Institute for Advanced Development Studies in La Paz, Bolivia, and publishes the Monday Morning Development Newsletter. Since her Ph.D. research on The Dynamics of Deforestation and Economic Growth in the Brazilian Amazon, she has been particularly interested in the relationships between human development and environmental conservation. Marita’s interest in the developing world has brought her to African, Asian and Latin American hinterlands to the front of UN delegates in New York. As a young and passionate development worker, she has been working as a Board Member in the official Board of Directors in Plan Norway since 2009. Prior to this, she has worked and volunteered in different parts of the world.
