MEERIM SHAKIROVA, Correspondent, Central Asia
Meerim is from Kyrgyzstan, holds a bachelor and master degree in International Journalism from Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) and is currently pursuing a PhD at MGIMO University, focusing on Energy Economics. She is a founder of “Save Energy” NGO, in Kyrgyzstan, which is seeking to expand its activities throughout the Central Asia region.
